Valley of the Kings

The Valley of the Kings, the ancient Kings’ necropolis, is Luxor’s spectacular destination with no equal. Upon reaching the site, we will make a short stop at visitor’s center. So you know, the guide isn’t allowed to enter the tombs, however, he will narrate the tombs’ history, guiding you on what to focus on inside the intricate rooms. The good news is; you can visit King Tutankhamen’s glamorous tomb with an additional cost. 

After leaving the place, you’ll visit the Temple of Hatshepsut, Luxor’s incomparable monument. Your guide will narrate a brief introduction, explaining the temple’s history, as well as Queen Hatshepsut’s life, the famous female pharaoh. Afterwards, you’ll have the time to explore the wide courtyards and admire the hieroglyphs’ complicated inscriptions and decorations. 

On the way back to Luxor, there will be time to make a short stop at the Colossi of Memnon, Amenhotep III’s funerary temple. Two giant statues standing proudly on the western bank are the old complex’s only remains.
